Nomination Thread: AU: Crossover/Fusion

N.B. We have divided up the large umbrella category of AU into a couple of subcategories - we have separate streams for Alternate Narrative/Canon Divergence, Crossover/Fusion, and Omegaverse. So for the crossover and fusion stream, please nominate stories that are either set in the universe of some other specific work or world (e.g. Marvel Cinematic Universe, His Dark Materials) or which combine with the plot of some other work or story (e.g. Pride and Prejudice, Cinderella).

A top-drawer author and a well known fic, but my favorite crossover:

Sherlock BBC/Addams Family -- mostly the movies for this one, for the character Wednesday Addams

I'd like to propose Of Ghosts and Men (http://archiveofourown.org/works/631482), by stardust_made. A truly wonderful SPN/Sherlock crossover that has the great advantage you don't have to be invested in both shows to yet become thoroughly invested in the story. It's got everything imho, great characterisations, stunning language, lots of angst and adventure. All in all a most satisfying read.
