A Sort of Book Event

Good morning, everyone! Your stalwart and brave mods have compiled your nominations in the thirteen categories and formulated a poll.  (We greatly apologize for the confusion this morning; you should have a nice clean poll in which to vote.  Thank you so much for your patience while we continue to work out our kinks.)

You do NOT have to vote in every category. Please vote ONLY in the categories that interest you. You can find links to all of the currently-nominated stories at the top of the nominations post for each stream. (quick links to each stream here.)

We will only discuss the fics with the most votes in the 4-6 categories with the most votes - so don't vote for a fic if you don't want to discuss it!

Voting is open until 4pm EST Wednesday, September 3, at which point we will close the poll to further voting. (We'll make sure to mark the post in some way - if you don't see something saying STOP VOTING, go ahead and vote.)

We will announce the results of the poll on Thursday, September 4. At that time, we'll also announce the schedule of when each fic will be discussed, so you'll all have plenty of time to read or re-read the final selections. The reason for the delay is so we can check with the authors of the upcoming fics to make sure they're aware of their fic being discussed, and also so we can touch base with nominators to make sure they're ready to lead a discussion.
